Jordan Bridges is a soulful and creative actor who has connected with audiences in a variety of rolls across different mediums.  Whether on the screen or on the stage, Jordan manages to convey characters that are both authentic and unique.

Jordan was born on November 13th 1973 in Los Angeles, California.  Performing and entertaining came naturally as he is a member of the third generation of actors in the Bridges family.  In fact, he is part of a long line of artists and entertainers on both sides of his family.

(Interesting bit of trivia: Jordan's maternal Grandfather Marvin Landfield over-dubbed the saxophone part heard by the actor Robert Montgomery in the film "Here comes Mr. Jordan" which also features an early uncredited appearance from his paternal Grandfather Lloyd Bridges.)

From an early age Jordan was fascinated by the world of imagination and pretend.  He would spend hours  dressing up in strange clothing and assuming the roles of childhood heros such as Bruce Lee, Fred Astaire, and Mighty Mouse.  While some families would have been alarmed with this odd behavior, Jordan's family was overjoyed that they had another kindred spirit.  Jordan's Grandmother Dorothy introduced all of the Bridges children into the craft from infancy by having them run through expressive emotional exercises the way some Grandma's would have their children count to ten.  Eventually, Jordan was encouraged to try his hand in the professional arena.  He earned his SAG card at the tender age of 5 by appearing in his father's tv film "The Kid From Nowhere".  After a successful but emotionally trying experience working on the Disney MOW "The Thanksgiving Promise" , Jordan elected to withdraw from the life of a professional child actor and focus on the hard work of Growing Up.  However, he couldn't stay far from performing.  While in high-school at the progressive Oakwood School in Los Angeles Jordan appeared in roles ranging from Henry the Eighth in "Anne of the Thousand Days" to Jesus Christ in "Godspell".  He also got his groove on performing with the rock band "The Mighty Thermos" and as his blues alter-ego "Squirly Blind-boy".

At Bard College Jordan aspired to be a bit of a Renaissance Man.  He studied Natural History, Poetry, Film Theory, and Contemporary Fiction.  Eventually, he felt the pull to perform again.  At a certain point he realized that this is what he was meant to do and committed himself to becoming an actor.   At Bard he had the opportunity to play some wonderful characters such Jean in "Miss Juli" and Prior in "Angels in America".  For his Junior year he auditioned and was accepted to the prestigious London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts or LAMDA.  While in London Jordan learned to fence, saw some fantastic theater on the West End , and came to the startling realization that he is "not a drinker".  After Graduating from Bard college Jordan moved to Manhattan where he was lucky enough to study with the great acting teacher Bobby Lewis.  Since then he has continued supplement his experience as a actor by studying with the likes of Susan Batson and Tom Toderoff.  He has also devoted over ten years of study and training into the art of Kung Fu.

Jordan has been making a living as an actor since 1997.  Amongst his career highlights are: Collaborating with his father to create the title character for A&E's "Barnum!", playing a cad of a husband to Kirsten Dunst in "Mona Lisa Smile" and hanging upside down on Broadway in "The Lieutenant of Inishmore".

In 2003 Jordan married the love of his life Artist/Author/Inventor Caroline Eastman.  They have two children, Orson and Lola.  They live in California.
